Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking an experienced HR Director to join their client's team in Texas. This role offers a hybrid working environment and is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to lead and execute core people operations while serving as a trusted partner to executive leadership. The HR Director will play a pivotal role in blending strategic HR leadership with hands-on execution, ideal for a growing organization leveraging a PEO for select administrative and compliance functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with executive leadership on workforce strategy, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Lead HR operations, policy development, and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Oversee recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and leadership development.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution.
  • Coordinate compensation, benefits, payroll oversight, HR vendors, and HRIS reporting.
  • Directly manage HR team members and support their development and performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience; 3+ years in HR leadership.
  • Experience working with a PEO strongly preferred.
  • HR certification required (SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR, or equivalent).

Required Work Hours

Monday to Friday, first shift.

Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary range of $128,500 to $150,000 per year, along with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by building strong, compliant, and people-centered HR foundations.

The HR Director will oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and HR compliance while guiding the evolution of scalable, practical HR practices.
